Artists

Sachiko Kodama
Sachiko Kodama holds a doctorate from Tsukuba University’s Department of Art. Since 2000, she has been creating “magnetic fluid” sculptures that display magnetism controlled through programming. The organic and dynamic movements of these works resemble unreal life forms offering mysterious surprises. Along with a new film, this exhibition presents examples of her light art from recent years. Witness how Kodama manipulates gravity, magnetism, texture, and light in the creation of new images through digital media.
