Artists

Ayano Sudo
Ayano Sudo creates photographic images that are somewhere between color manga illustrations and photography, embodying a transformation of desire that captures idealistic representations that are beyond the gender of her subjects. To commemorate the publication of the limited edition photobook, this exhibition features the "Anima / Animus" series of photographs taken at the home of the artist Kuniyoshi Kaneko, who passed away in 2015, just before the house was demolished in 2019.

This exhibition will be held at the same time as Sudo's exhibition "Vita Machinicalis" at MEM. Two exhibitions are in contrast with each other: MEM exhibition explores the beauty that exists between the virtual and the real, and the exhibition at NADiff Gallery captures the existence that exists between the world of death and the unconscious and the world of the living and the conscious.
