Chika Osaka
Gallery MoMo Ryogoku presents an exhibition by Chika Osaka. Although possessing advanced printmaking skills, Osaka also uses watercolor and oil paint in her works. While portraying comical and friendly characters, the motifs of clothing and everyday objects in her paintings are transferred from traditional Japanese styles, evoking the image of modern Ukiyo-e painting. For this exhibition, she will challenge herself to create one large multi-narrative work.
