Hasui Kawase
Retrospective exhibition of Hasui Kawase (1883-1957), who was active from the Taisho to Showa periods. Hasui traveled throughout Japan and continuously painted nostalgic landscapes, paying special attention to details such as weather, four seasons, and daytime. This exhibition invites visitors to the nostalgic world of Japanese landscape prints by introducing Hasui's early and later woodblock prints together.
