Yutaka Matsuzawa
A retrospective marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of the conceptual artist Yutaka Matsuzawa (1922–2006). It will introduce Matsuzawa's diverse works and activities, including architecture and poetry, which were his starting points as an artist, as well as paintings, objects, and works in language and performances in Japan and abroad, before and after he received a revelation in 1964 to "erase objects.” The exhibition will also introduce Matsuzawa's legendary studio Psi Room, which will be reproduced and include a VR experience. The show brings together the works and activities of Matsuzawa throughout his life and provides an opportunity to think about the vision that he pursued.
