Sozan Suwa I
An exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the death of Sozan Suwa I.
Sozan Suwa I left numerous plaster molds in his workshop. Starting in 2011, a survey of items has been conducted, and since 2019, Sozan IV and the Kyoto Institute of Technology have been collaborating to repair the damage by using 3D and digital fabrication technology. This exhibition introduces Sozan's unique techniques through his works, plaster molds, and historical documents.
