This exhibition marks the 50th anniversary of Okinawa's reversion to Japan, and will introduce how local newspapers reported on the matter. The year 1972 was also a year in which various incidents and accidents occurred in Japan and abroad. The exhibition will also introduce various newsletters and newspapers of the time. In addition, 25 photographs of the reversion to Okinawa by the Asahi Shimbun newspaper will be displayed in the foyer.
