Artists

Ai Yamada et al.
The purpose of this exhibition is the preservation and promotion of metal crafts such as casting, forging, and engraving, which have been practiced in Japan since ancient times. It also encourages the creation of works that are relevant to modern life and seeks out public attention and reviews. Since the 43rd exhibition in 2014, the show has featured the "21⁺ Division," a section dedicated to nurturing young artists creating works that actively propose solutions for the living spaces of the 21st century.
