Artists

Yasuo Kazuki
Yasuo Kazuki experienced military service and internment during World War II, and his work depicting his memories of the war is widely known as his masterpiece "Siberian Series." On the other hand, Kazuki spent his entire life in his hometown of Misumi after his demobilization and painted many casual scenes from his daily life. This exhibition introduces motifs from his early to late work, interwoven with the artist's own words.
