Cats of Tokyo: A Joint Project by the Tokyo City Museum Network

Meguro Museum of Art
FinishedDiscount
For many artists, cats are an object of admiration and sympathy as free beings unbound by society. Cats have long been associated with the heroic "tiger" as a subject of art, and this year, 2022, is also the year of the tiger. While the focus is on cats, which are familiar and easy to relate to, the actual works you will see reflect the characteristics of each museum's collection. This show will also introduce the diverse activities of Tokyo's municipal art museums.
