Gallery Parc is pleased to present the exhibition of dyeing and textile artist Chihiro Murata.
This exhibition features Murata's "beyond" series, including large-scale works created for the previous solo exhibition held in an old sake brewery and works for the VOCA exhibition 2022. In the "beyond" series, Murata's intention and body movements are transferred to the cloth as strokes, which are immediately blurred by water, causing movement, swaying, and colors next to each other to collide and gradually expand into complex colors surfaces. Murata's strokes transform into textures, colors transform into stains, and while the strokes of the past remain, the details change.
