Special collaboration exhibition between animation "The Heike Story" and "The Samuraiー Samurai Paintings and Works by Warrior Class Painters" exhibition.
"The Heike Story" is a Japanese original animated adaptation series of "The Tale of the Heike" that revolves around the main character Biwa and the people of the Heike clan. On the other side, the current exhibition "The Samuraiー Samurai Paintings and Works by Warrior Class Painters" features the "The Tale of the Heike", a folding screen that portrays more than 800 people. For this special exhibition, we will present various art documents based on historical research, as well as materials related to both the animation and the folding screen characters.
