Tochigi Prefectural Museum of Fine Arts opened on November 3rd, 1972, and celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. With around 9000 works in our collection, we have created more than 240 exhibitions until now and since 2000 we have been putting effort into educational programs as well. By joining forces with the local residents and educational institutions, we have been creating various encounters with art.
In order to express our gratitude towards out visitors, we will use all the gallery rooms for the "50th Anniversary Collection of Tochigi Prefectural Museum of Fine Arts" exhibition, in which "Collection I— The Charming Collection!" is the fifth chapter.

Hours	9:30-17:00
Closed	Monday Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays and in between exhibitions.

Fee

Adults ¥260, University and High School Students ¥120, Junior High School Students and Under free.
