Cutting is one of the traditional decorative techniques of glass. Cutting the surface of glass creates a sharp impression and a shimmering visual effect. This exhibition will display modern vessels from the museum's collection, contemporary works in the tradition of Japanese cut glass and faceted glass, and glass from the Qing dynasty in China, showing the various expressions of glass created by the cutting technique.
