Eisaku Ando
Eisaku Ando expresses shapes as one would strike wood with a hatchet. He has created countless humorous as well as solemn, and serious pieces, with both facets being indispensable in the production of and as elements in his artwork. In this exhibit, Ando will present wooden carvings emphasizing “feeling like they were made playing with clay, and the freedom and playfulness that entails.”
