Artists

Yoichi Takahara
"Air, Water, Earth, Fire" is a work of rust patterns naturally formed by the shimmering atmosphere, the illusion of shapes reflected on the surface of water, the memories conveyed by the land, and the formations of energy created by flames. In the work entitled "Time," Yoichi Takahara uses an archaeological excavation site where traces of ancient people's lives once existed as a stage to evoke a sense of human presence that transcends time and space. His work, which are not paintings, but photographs of real-life formations and landscapes, colored with the stencil silkscreen printing technique, are highly acclaimed around the world.
