How did images of expressive Hindu deities such as Shiva, Ganesha, and Krishna spread? This exhibition features approximately 500 works of Hindu deities, ranging from ancient archaeological art materials to contemporary illustrations, and centered on a collection of modern Indian popular religious paintings. Through the transition of materials, techniques, and media, the Hindu deities and their fertile world are introduced from various angles.
