Belami was once a dorm for performers at a cabaret in Wakamatsu in 1960s and 1970s. Now, it has transformed into a space where events like flea markets, music live performances are held, as well as share house for employees of video production companies. In such space, the artists Hiroko Okada and Midori Mitamura will play the role of cabaret performers and possibly convey the dramatic world of the everyday life of women in cabaret during Showa period. Video works in genre of suspense, comedy and rhapsody, created at Belami as a stage, will be on display as well. The other venue, that is the Operation Table, will become a nostalgic space where the cabaret of a the past will be reproduced in an art showtime sessions.
*From March 4th to March 13th, Hiroko Okada and Midori Mitamura will reside at Operation Table where they will hold showtimes each weekend.
