Hisashi Eguchi

Manga artist Hisashi Eguchi is famous for his works such as "Susume!! Pirates" and "Stop!! Hibari-kun!". From the mid-1980s, he has been actively involved in illustration as well, and is particularly well known for his beautiful depiction of women and girls, and continues to be widely active in advertising and other projects as well. Eguchi also has a deep knowledge of pop and rock music, both domestic and international, and has featured music and musicians in his manga works, receiving enthusiastic offers from musicians and creating many CD jacket artworks. The exhibition will feature approximately 200 works, including a large-format display of jacket artwork, as well as rare original drawings and sketches.
