ICC Annual is a six-month-long exhibition previously held as an open space exhibition.
The exhibition will present a different view of the state of consciousness and the state of technology in contemporary society, inspired and renewed by trends in new media and technology, through a variety of expressions in the contemporary media environment, including works of media art.
The current living environment is filled with a variety of systems brought about by computational technology. The transition of human-computer mediated technology has been and will continue to be driven by the life-like behavior of algorithms, which permeate the living environment in a more natural way.
On the other hand, by deciphering recursion and chance in natural phenomena and analyzing natural mechanisms, it is now possible to simulate another nature from the technological side, to define a new way of life, and to redefine nature and life.
In this age of "organizing inorganic things," work inspired by the environment as a new "life-like" system created by digital technology and natural phenomena, and produced by reciprocal feedback, the exhibition will consider the future of technology through a wide range of works based on social issues such as climate change and gender, and contemporary technological trends such as NFT and meta-verse.
