The ICC Kids Program, an annual summer vacation event, aims to nurture children's curiosity and imagination by exposing them to works inspired by contemporary media art and media environments through interactive, hands-on exhibits and workshops. This year, under the title of "Tools for Play,” it presents an event exploring "tools" as the starting point of human invention and technology, reinterpreting them in various ways depending on how they are played with and used.

The word "play" in English includes the meanings of "to play a game," "to perform," "to play a role," and so on. This show takes a fresh look at tools, freeing them from their usual roles while investigating their mechanisms. Let your imagination run loose while thinking about all kinds of tools – from those used in everyday life to the latest new technologies.
