Kazumi Yamashita
The colorful style of Kazumi Yamashita's manga has gained her many fans. Best known for her "The Life of Genius Professor Yanagizawa" which she has been continuously creating for 30 years with the loving gaze towards the people, she has also questioned what it is to be a human through her other work, "Wonder Boy", transcended over the idea of time and place.
In this exhibition we will present original pictures of Yamashita's lifework "The Life of Genius Professor Yanagizawa", as well as her other works. Along with these will be presented materials about her father, who became the prototype for Professor Yanagizawa, her older sister, also a manga artist, and pre-debut works, which will be presented to the public for the first time. Approximately 150 works and materials will be on display.
