Kenta Kobayashi is known for his series of colorful photographic works, in which photographs taken by Kobayashi himself are greatly altered through digital processing. In this exhibition, his first solo show at the gallery, he sublimates "fragments of memory of people living in the city" into new works using "debris" as a motif. The exhibition includes a three-dimensional work in the form of an acrylic mirror reconstructing the shape of a fragment of a broken mirror, a new series of relief works combining multiple fragments by reflecting the shape of the fragment in a photograph mounted on acrylic, a photographic work in the form of a circular acrylic mount of a computer graphics image of a cityscape reflected in a broken mirror, and a new piece in the form of an acrylic mirror, which is a mirror of his own. The exhibition will feature a series of new works that extend the expression of photography to various materials, including the first NFT work, and will be displayed throughout the gallery space with huge graphics laid on the floor.
