Masahisa Fukase
Photographer Masahisa Fukase (1934-2012) lived with many cats from his childhood. Among them, Sasuke and Momoe supported Fukase not only as his cats but also as models for his photographs. This exhibition looks back on Fukase's work series "Sasuke" (1977-78) in connection with "A Game" (1983) and "Lick" (1991) to reveal the unique perspective he gained from playing with the cats he loved and adored.
