Ihei Kimura
Ihei Kimura (1901~1974), born in Tokyo, played an active role as a news and portrait photographer. Kimura went to Europe in 1954 to cover Europe as the first Japanese photographer after WWII. This exhibit will showcase photos of Paris taken by Kimura, as well as work depicting Europe by other Japanese artists that belong to the collection at MMAT.
