Naze

Naze was born in 1989 and is based in Tokyo. Naze's work has been based on graffiti, street culture, and drawings, and works range from large paintings like billboard drawings to palm-sized objects and installations that seem to blur the boundary between the street and the gallery. The artist's style is impressive in that it transcends the physical senses. In recent years, Naze has often included text within the paintings.

Naze's work is an amalgam of many of the components that graffiti and modern art share, and is a chaotic, unsettling, and unforgettable experience for the viewer. The work continues to evolve in an orderly and consistent manner.

In this exhibition, Naze will present approximately 15 new works, including a large painting.
