OIL by Bijutsutecho Gallery

A store for the E-commerce site Oil by Bijutsutecho, run by the art magazine Bijutsutecho. Divided into the sections “Gallery,” “Café,” and “Shelf,” this shop creates a space for encounters with art. The Gallery features exhibitions and events focused on contemporary art in an open space. At the Café, you can sample a menu directed by the Gen Gen An Project introducing new styles of Japanese tea, while enjoying art gazing. Shelf offers a selection of art products by a variety of artists chosen by Oil. The shop’s art direction is by Hideyuki Yamano of Takaiyama Inc.
