From August 23rd (Tue) to August 28th (Sun), UltraSuperNew Gallery Harajuku will present Nyamofe’s first solo exhibition, "Nyamoso." A former musician with a long history of living abroad, Nyamofe began his illustration career in 2020, inspired by his desire to create anime. Nyamofe’s futuristic and cute illustrations, influenced by his diverse background and interests, have captured the hearts of many people, both in Japan and abroad, and he has recently been doing work illustrating artists’ cover art and music videos.
In addition, a reception party will be held on Saturday, August 27th (Sat) from 15:00 to 20:00, with live performances by two artists, Calum X and Mai Melody, later in the evening. Food and beverages will be served at the reception party, which we hope you will enjoy as you view the art.
