Prada is pleased to announce "Role Play" - an exhibition that will be held from March 11th to June 20th at Prada Aoyama with the support of the Fondazione Prada. It is the second exhibition along with the one in Milano's Osservatorio Fondazione Prada, held from February 19th to June 27th, 2022.
Curated by Melissa Harris, this project traces the alternative and idealized identities, and by projecting those, pursues the established concepts. The artists pursue the understanding between individual human nature and its public character by approaching from the point of view of creating role playing and alter egos, as well as identity diffusion.
In this exhibition, internationally active artists such as Juno Calypso, Beatrice Marchi, Haruka Sakaguchi, Griselda San Martin, Tomoko Sawada, Bogosi Sekhukhuni will present photographic, video and sound works, which will be appearing in a light installation made by the creative agency Random Studio.
