Saya Okubo
Saya Okubo creates paintings where two elements coexist: outlines of symbolic images and undulations of abstract images conveying a sense of materiality. Okubo's work is composed of various layers, such as a base of polished acrylic paint, layers of three-dimensional oil paint, and lines cut out from drawings depicting various parts and poses of the human body. Over a dozen new paintings by the artist inspired by Alfred Tennyson's poetry will be on display.
