Tomotatsu Gima
Born in Okinawa, Tomotatsu Gima graduated from the Nihonga Course of Nagoya University of Arts, and then continued his studies in the Prints course as a researcher. After working in a company, he then went to study in NY and returned to Okinawa, where he is based now.
This exhibition will present Gima's works from his student years - series with idol motifs, LP series from the exhibition held in Tokyo in January, sneakers made in collaboration with the sports brand Le Coq Sportif, and other. The conceptual works made in collaboration with the photographer Meisa Fujishiro, and the New York-based photographer Akiko Higuchi, will be presented as well.
