Artists

Toru Matsuoka
This is the first exhibition of Toru Matsuoka in 11 years. Matsuoka is an artist energetically engaged in a wide range of creative activities, including sculpture, painting, and workshops, using a wide range of expressive techniques that are not bound by any particular method. His humorous work, which is a fusion of fantasy and delusion, imagination and fantasy, and evokes a sense of nostalgia, gently envelop the viewer and at the same time leads him or her into a world that is somewhat blurred and full of flavor.

In this exhibition, Matsuoka will present sculptures and paintings based on his encounters and experiences in the northern part of Okayama, including in the town of Nagi, which he has collected over the past 10 years.
