Yuki Teshima's main subject matter is the landscape" of Hiroshima, where he lives and works, while considering the historical and cultural context of the region. Layers of image and time are layered, opening up a variety of possibilities for reading and understanding, and underlying this is the artist's desire for a peaceful symbiosis between people and still life.

In recent years, Tejima has been using a drawing application to draw sketches by sliding his finger across the screen of his smartphone, which are then projected onto canvas and painted in oil.

This exhibition will feature five large oil paintings.
