Artists

Yukihiro Yamagami
Yukihiro Yamagami creates works using a unique technique called "canvas projection," in which he uses a projector to project images taken from the same perspective onto detailed pencil drawings of urban and natural landscapes.

The result is a monochrome landscape that depicts the changing light of morning, noon, and night, the changing seasons, people passing by, clouds flowing by, and the changing flow of time and light.

This exhibition will show two large pieces depicting Tokyo Station (4 meters wide) and Shinjuku Alta (2.5 meters high), as well as scenes from Arita, Saga; Asakusa, Tokyo; and Shijo Ohashi, Kyoto.
