The Taisho era (1912-1926) lasted only 15 years, but recently, the culture and customs known as "Taisho Romanticism" have been attracting attention.

This exhibition focuses on the art of Yumeji Takehisa, a painter who represented the period of Taisho Romanticism, and introduces the lyrical paintings, entertainment, fashion, and cultural life that flourished during this time period. The exhibition also focuses on the young women of this period, such as schoolgirls, young ladies, and modern girls, and looks back at their lifestyles and popular customs.
