This year's exhibition takes the perspective of “ homage," a French word that refers to respect, reverence, and admiration.

The exhibition welcomes Satoshi Someya, a Kyoto-based lacquer artist, and Kenji Oyama, an artist and filmmaker, to introduce new charms of Ryukyu lacquerware.
