The artwork "Adventures Through the Calendar," themed around a year in the long-distance relationship between a man living in Tokyo and a woman living in Kyoto, began production in 2019. In addition to "Adventures Through the Calendar - Kyoto Calendar," which depicts the twelve months of the seasons in Kyoto, a new series "Tokyo Calendar," started in anticipation of the 50th anniversary of Seizo Watase's art career, has finally been completed. This exhibition will unveil all 24 works of "Adventures Through the Calendar."
Additionally, this exhibition will reflect on Seizo Watase's 50-year journey, showcasing original works from his representative piece "Heart Cocktail" and many nostalgic artworks from the 1980s to the present. Fans can purchase original goods in conjunction with the exhibition, including 50th-anniversary prints and commemorative merchandise.
