Domoto Insho had a deep connection with Osaka, stretching from his early to late years. This exhibition commemorates the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai by introducing Insho’s artistic activities that took place in Oksaka.  His early genre-paintings when he was working as a designer, the Buddhist paintings for the pagoda at Shitennoji Temple, the mural of Virgin Maria in Osaka-Takamatsu Cathedral St. Mary’s Cathedral after the war, and the design for the stage curtain at the Japan World Exposition Osaka 1970 Hall and more works are introduced to focus on Insho’s over-60- years of his artistic endeavors.
