60th Anniversary Sanrio Exhibition - The Beginning of Kawaii

Sanrio, which has created over 450 characters including Hello Kitty and My Melody, has been a pioneer in the "kawaii" culture that has become a global phenomenon over its 60-year history. This exhibition traces its journey from its founding through valuable materials such as merchandise and design sketches. It also explores the "feelings of Sanrio" embodied in numerous characters cherished across generations. Additionally, collaborative artworks by contemporary artists will be showcased, highlighting the new allure of Sanrio characters as icons of modern Japanese pop culture.
