In the Battle of Okinawa, a fierce battle involving the residents took place, and along with many precious lives, not only the streets and landscapes, but also the many cultural properties created by our predecessors were lost. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the end of the Battle of Okinawa, battles continue in many parts of the world, and many cultural assets have been lost along with irreplaceable lives. In this exhibition, we will learn about the damage of the war through cultural properties damaged by the Battle of Okinawa, consider the importance of peace, and introduce the trajectory of regaining Okinawa's unique cultural properties built by our predecessors.
