Imagine your favorite chair. It surely carries more than just comfort. At Ginza Sony Park, we believe that a chair quietly imprints a person's daily life and presence over time as they sit and spend moments on it.
And with this, Ginza Sony Park has gathered 52 beloved chairs from architects, artists, shop owners, and various other professionals. Rather than focusing on famous designs or prices, we introduce 52 chairs through the stories of "What kind of moments has this person experienced with this chair?" A chair in the corner of a workspace for relaxation. A cherished chair used when opening a shop. A one-of-a-kind chair with slightly shortened legs for a child. If you find a chair you like among the various ones, you can even purchase it.
And a portion of the revenue will be donated to support the creation of spaces where someone can sit, learn, and spend time comfortably. "a chair is not alone." A chair is always connected with people, time, and someone a little further ahead.
