The Ainu Art Exhibition has been held by the Ainu Folk Culture Foundation since 1997 at art galleries and museums nationwide to promote Ainu culture and research. In addition to introducing outstanding Ainu collections from Japan and abroad, the exhibition has also featured the activities of artists who are currently active in the field.

This exhibition features recent works by Saya Ogasawara (illustration), Koji Kaizawa (wood carving), Toru Kaizawa (wood carving), Noriko Kawamura (fabric art), Hiroyuki Shimokura (metalwork), Maki Sekine (design), Kimiko Naraki (embroidery), Kayoko Nishida (embroidery), Kohei Fujito (mixed media), Yukio Fujito (wood carving), and Koji Yuki (prints and others).

In addition, the exhibition will also feature the Ainu collections from the 19th to 20th centuries held by the National Museum of the Ainu People and the Ainu Culture Foundation. The exhibition also introduces the relationship between the Owari Tokugawa family and the town of Yakumo in Hokkaido.
