“Art Lab” is a participatory, hands-on artist project creating spaces through open production and workshops on any of the themes of “Enjoying with the five senses”, “Feeling and sensing materials”, and “The start of communication”.
Mitsuhiro Ikeda, an artist known for his humorous and insightful perspectives on the unexpected (or sometimes intentional) encounters we have with ‘others’ in our daily lives, has chosen the keyword ‘overlap’ for this exhibition. At the Art Lab, the creative overlapping of visitors’ actions gives rise to a unique space where chance and imagination meet. When one person’s creation overlaps with another’s, it can spark new inspiration—and perhaps even a little buzz—in your mind.
