The contemporary art fair Art Osaka 2025 will be held from Thursday, June 5 to Monday, June 9. Art Osaka is the longest-running art fair in Japan, and is widely known for offering abundant opportunities to encounter works by emerging and mid-career artists. This year, as in recent years, the fair spans two locations. The Galleries section takes place in Nakanoshima, a major cultural hub in Osaka, and the Expanded section unfolds in Kitakagaya, a waterfront area bursting with creativity. This year the Osaka City Central Public Hall in Nakanoshima will be rented out in its entirety, and a special screening program will be presented in its magnificent theater. We invite you to experience Art Osaka 2025, an art fair that connects two of the city’s most dynamic areas.

[Galleries Section]
This section has the format of a booth-style art fair. The 2025 edition brings 44 galleries from Japan and abroad together under one roof, with each gallerist applying their unique aesthetic sensibility to the selection of works presented. Visitors will experience the resonance between the marvelously ornate interior of Osaka City Central Public Hall, the city’s premier landmark of prewar modern architecture, and the latest in contemporary art.
