Artists’ Fair Kyoto has been well received as a catalyst for the next generation of artists and a venue for communication between visitors and artists and will be held for the sixth time as a fair that goes beyond the framework of conventional art fairs. Under the theme of "Singularity of Art," the fair will feature a total of 16 artists, including Noboru Tsubaki as director and Takashi Ikegami, Motohiko Kotani, and Gwala Yanagawa as members of the “Advisory Board," which recommends young artists.

The 40 young artists were selected by the Advisory Board and the public. In addition to the Kyoto Prefectural Museum of Kyoto Annex and the B1 floor of the Kyoto Shimbun Building, the Shoseien Garden (trifoliate orange garden) in the Higashi Honganji Temple enclave has been selected as the main venue for the exhibition. These three unique and atmospheric venues will be used to exhibit and sell a wide variety of works, ranging from paintings to installations that make full use of technology. In addition, satellite venues will be developed around the city of Kyoto, starting from the main venue, and the project to nurture young critics will continue as in previous years.

Venues: Kyoto Prefectural Museum of Kyoto Annex, Kyoto Newspaper Building B1F, Shoseien (trifoliate orange garden)
