Artists

Atsushi Suwa
Atsushi Suwa is a painter of “realism." Suwa's paintings, which are created through meticulous research and multilayered contemplation, have an ambitious and contemporary significance that questions the meaning of "seeing and painting".

This exhibition introduces Suwa's recent work, from the "Abandoned People" series about his grandmother who died in Manchuria after the end of World War II to his latest work, and explores the depths of his creative process.
