Mountain Lights is an immersive large-scale light art installation created by the globally renowned British artist Bruce Munro.

The artwork is displayed along the slopes of the ski resort, featuring "Firefly," an installation composed of 24 fiber optic cables that blend into the landscape, illuminating the scene with 180,000 points of light. These points of light transform into a 1.3 km band of light called "Arrow Spring," which illuminates the base of Mount Niseko Annupuri. Arrow Spring, enveloped in a gentle glow reminiscent of real fireflies, softly embraces the land of Hanazono, carried by the wind of Niseko.

Starting in 2024, two additional works featuring color and music will be added, offering art pieces that can only be seen here in Japan.

Under the star-studded sky of Hokkaido's Niseko, "Mountain Lights" presents a magnificent light-filled pathway. Enjoy this unparalleled immersive experience where rich nature and light intertwine, a world that can only be experienced in Niseko.
