This exhibition will introduce the changes in Chinese ceramics over a period of approximately 1,800 years, from the Later Han to the Qing dynasties. Chinese ceramics were among the first in the world to undergo remarkable development, influencing not only the Asian region but also the Islamic world and European ceramics in the distance. This exhibition introduces the history and development of Chinese ceramics and porcelain by showing masterpieces from the museum’s collection, including those newly acquired.
