Daisuke Tajima draws imaginary cities with the help of Japanese manga, animation, and films that Tajima has been influenced by since the 1990s. Tajima's works are urban landscape drawn with pen, ink, and paper with aggressive lines which eliminate human figures and buildings in the picture take center stage in a proliferating urban space that crosses boundaries such as imagination and reality, digital visual experience and the ink brush, country and country, and past and future.
