Christopher Zanko
Laid Bug hosts "Kakurega," a solo exhibition by Australian artist Christopher Zanko. Known for blending wood reliefs and paintings, Zanko's work often reflects nostalgia for mid-20th-century suburban communities impacted by social and economic changes. This exhibition will feature works inspired by Zanko's fieldwork in Japan, highlighting the contrasts between rapidly redeveloping areas and remnants of the past. New to this show are ceramic pieces and mixed media works, along with art books and original air fresheners. This is Zanko's first exhibition featuring Japanese-inspired works.
